Dreams

I'm quite selective when it comes to my dreams. Dreams are the things and aspirations you have for the future based on where you are right now. Everyone has aspirations for a variety of reasons, including those related to upcoming careers, families, and social standing.

I can picture myself 10 years from now working, having a close relationship with my family, and living life to the fullest. I'm making the most of every moment of my life because I know that the memories I create will be treasured forever. I'm going to work so that I can support my family's ongoing expenses. I can provide them with everything they ask for. My relationship with my family can have numerous effects on me, including the creation of happy memories.

I will always be thankful for everyone who will support me and help me to my journey in achieving my dreams which can make my ideal life in the future. The secret to achieving any desire is hard effort.

Changes.

We are all aware that change may have a significant impact on all aspects of our lives. Some people are terrified of it because of the significant impact it will have on our life. People don't want their life to drastically change, so they just want to stay put and don't want to make any huge or significant steps. However, if you're going to question my desire for change? Yes, I'll answer.

These changes are the result of our errors and choices. I don't mind making mistakes that result in change because change has so many different kinds of effects. Your life may get better or worse, but only your decisions will determine how things turn out. I have faith in the changes taking place in my life because I am confident they will result in my success and teach me how to be a better person.

In order to sum up all I mentioned, I would want to say that you shouldn't be frightened to make changes in your life because they can teach you valuable lessons that will ultimately lead to your own success. When we make mistakes, we should always consider a constructive method to rectify the situation and draw lessons from our prior experiences.

Celebrations and Traditions

Celebrating occasions and festivals in schools has grown to be an essential component of education and the formation of a child's deep cultural conviction. This encourages students to accept other cultures and customs in the same manner that they do their own. Every person who has participated in school celebrations can attest to the importance of these events in their lives since they helped us create lasting memories as well as moments of delight.

Because of the virus that had spread throughout the world, there are many chances that the celebration of High school day in Ilocos Sur National Highschool had been delayed. They chose not to celebrate in order to protect everyone from catching the disease. And now that they celebrated it, I didn't had the chance to go because the students and teachers that need to go there is limited. Too bad I wasn't included in any clubs that could get me in.

Everybody should appreciate the little things and appreciate the traditions that our school's celebrate. Everything that it holds will bring joy, inspirations, etc. Give importance to those who make efforts to give us lessons and experiences that we'll be carrying through our whole lives.

Every Year's Holy Week

Christians reflect on the circumstances leading up to Jesus' crucifixion and in accordance with their beliefs, his Resurrection throughout Holy Week. There are five days this week that are very significant. The first is Palm Sunday, which honors Jesus' modest journey into Jerusalem to observe Passover. He was welcomed by throngs of people, who spread their cloaks and placed palm fronds in his way, proclaiming him to be the Son of David, according to the Gospel narrative. (Matthew 21:5). Palm Sunday is observed with a blessing and palm-waving procession in various Christian churches.

Maundy Thursday marks Jesus’ institution at the Last Supper of the Eucharist, thereafter a central element of Christian worship. In Roman Catholicism, Maundy Thursday is accompanied by the pope’s washing of the feet of 12 humble or poor persons, in imitation of Jesus’ washing of the feet of his 12 disciples at the Last Supper. Good Friday is a day of sadness, repentance, and fasting in remembrance of Jesus' suffering and death on the cross. The traditional conclusion of Lent is Holy Saturday, commonly known as Easter Vigil. Easter Sunday marks the commemoration of Jesus' Resurrection, which occurred the third day following his crucifixion, as recorded in the Gospels. Similar to Christmas, the modern celebration of Easter has grown to be connected with a number of folk traditions that have little to do with the religious holiday, such as the Easter lamb, the Easter rabbit, and the decorating of Easter eggs.

In the barangays, after Jesus visits each person's home to lend and pray for their home and family, the passing of the plate that is prayed to at the chapel on Thursdays and Good Fridays takes place. But because I wasn't feeling well during Holy Week this year, I missed the opportunity to see the Banal na Misa and the Visita Iglesia. Even though I was unwell with a fever and a sore throat, I continued to worship and pray to God from home. Let's not give ourselves any excuses not to worship and believe in God.

A love that will always last forever.

To begin, what exactly is Valentine's? Why are we celebrating it? Valentine's Day, also known as the "Day of the Hearts," is observed on February 14th. We celebrate this occasion to express our gratitude not only to our loved ones but also to the best people we have ever known.

If you're wondering how my Valentine's Day went, it was fantastic. My Valentine's Day party quickly became one of the most memorable events of my life. Why? because I received my first bouquet right then and there. Having someone to love you as a lover is very motivating and makes me very happy because I already have someone who is willing to do so.

I also had a celebration with my friends and family which is really happy because we shared our stories and laughed together. We also gave gifts to every member of the friend group. Because of these reasons, I'll say that I had a wonderful day on Valentine's day and I'll say that our love for each other will always last forever.

Vigan's Kannawidan

Ilocos Sur is a lovely province in the northern part of the island of Luzon. It is a culturally rich province that represents ancient Spanish and Filipino ancestors. To show and share their treasures with the rest of the world, the locals created the "Kannadiwan Festival," which highlights these cultural traditions.

It is a festival that takes place from the last week of January to the first week of February. The commemoration of the province's founding day is included in the schedule of events.

One of the festival's goals is to pay more attention to children. It is due to the observation that many traditions, songs, dances, and other aspects of Ilocano culture are not recognized by the province's younger generations. Instead of traditional dances, children are more interested in modern and novelty dances they see on television. It is one of the reasons for the Kannadiwan Festival.

This is significant because children can learn about their rich culture and traditions here. Traditional tribal rituals, choir and glee club competitions, marching band competitions, traditional music ensembles, dance drama, traditional and folk dances, contemporary dance competitions, and street dancing showdowns are among them.

The local government of Ilocos Sur created this festival to encourage younger generations to learn the province's indigenous songs and dances. And we're thankful for all the people that cooperated in making all the people happy in Vigan.

Explore The Beauty of Vigan!!!

Vigan is a Philippine local region located on the large island of Luzon. It is located in the province of Ilocus Sur. But it is the city of Vigan's own product, the "Vigan Longganisa," that has made the city quite popular among other nearby places. Vigan's Longganisa can be eaten in any way that you want. Aside from eating it straight, some people prefer it as a bread filling. Others think it's great for breakfast with fried eggs and rice. Furthermore, dipping in Ilocos vinegar improves the flavor even more especially with plenty of crushed hot chili and sliced garlic and onions.

Vigan's longganisa was derived from the "Mexican Salami" in the past. According to some sources, the tradition of making this native sausage began during the country's Spanish colonization.
Vigan residents refer to themselves as "Biguenos," and they always greet visitors with warm smiles. They are so proud of their longganisa product that it has been designated as their city's "One Town, One Project" (OTOP). And they have always aimed to be the country's leading producer of longganisa.

Vigan has been celebrating the Longganisa Festival for nearly a decade. It has since become a traditional cultural festival celebrated by the Biguenos on the 25th of January every year. In addition, thousands of locals and foreign visitors usually attend the event. Street dancing and other activities (such as food fairs, carnivals, and arts and crafts exhibits) help promote Vigan's longganisa product, just as they do at other festival celebrations.
